Qigong can be beneficial for everyone. Currently there are ongoing classes teaching a number of Qigong forms - The Eight Brocades of Silk (Ba Daunn Jin), "Qigong for the Season", Five Treasures, Daoist Yin Organ, etc.
Meditation – the foundation for cultivating mindfulness

Meditation can bring a feeling of inner peace, calmness, personal awareness and healing.
The benefits of meditation are said to be many: reduce stress, sharpen the mind, gain clarity, increase creativity, lower blood pressure, improve the immune system, and gain an inner source of energy.
This class is for those new to meditation as well as intermediate practitioners.

Qigong, a 5000 year old system referred to as an “Ancient Chinese Secret of Health and Longevity” uses simple movement, breathing technique, and mental focus to cultivate internal energy. The class focuses on the power of Qigong for health, self-healing, and longevity.
Each class ends with a guided meditation.
Walk-ins are welcome.

There is a self-healing quality which is part of every person’s body, mind and spirit. A disease may come from the outside, however the inner-healing mechanism of the immune system will be an important healer. We can learn and use simple techniques to set in motion the medicine within us.
